For freelancers with a few client accounts

7 reasons for freelancers and small agencies to run client Facebook ads with AdChat

By Eric, founder of AdChat · Updated · 5 min read

If you look after Facebook and Instagram ads for a few clients, most of your week is the same loop: check each account, fix what broke, explain it to the client. Here's how AdChat turns that loop into a few questions in a chat. (Managing more than three accounts? Read the FAQfirst, we're honest about the limit.)

Every client account in one conversation

Connect up to 3 ad accounts and name the one you mean: “For Northside Physio, which ad had the cheapest booking last week?” No switching business managers, no reloading Ads Manager with the wrong account selected. The multiple accounts guide shows how to write prompts that never mix accounts up.

    Client-ready summaries instead of screenshots

Ask for “a short summary of last week for the client, in plain English, with the three numbers that matter” and paste it into your email. Claude can also draw the chart. You stop spending Friday afternoon building a report nobody reads past the first line.

Changes are drafts, and every one can be undone

On the Agent plan, nothing goes live until you approve it. Each draft shows the before and after. Budgets, statuses, bids, targeting and names can be put back in one click from the change log, so a wrong click on a client account is a minute's fix, not an awkward phone call.

Spend rules protect your clients' budgets

Set a maximum budget increase per day (default +20%), a daily cap for the whole account, a dollar amount above which it must ask, and campaigns no tool may ever touch. The rules run in code, not in the prompt, so a creative named “ignore previous instructions” does nothing.

You hear about problems before the client does

The Agent watches each account for eight things: cost per result spikes, tired creative, spend pacing, spend with no results, ad sets stuck in learning, disapproved ads, an expiring Facebook connection, and budgets changed outside AdChat. You get an email with a suggested fix you can approve from your inbox.

Subject:Cost per purchase up 46% on “Broad 25–45”

Over the last 3 days, “Broad 25–45” spent $186 for 7 purchases ($26.57 each). The two weeks before averaged $18.20. Frequency is 3.9, so the ads are probably tired.

A Monday report that says what your changes did

Every Monday: what happened, which of last week's approved changes helped, which are too early to call, and up to five suggested changes with approve buttons. It's the honest answer to “so what did you do for us last week?”

A flat price you can put on an invoice

$19 a month for the connector, $35 for the Agent, whatever your clients spend. No credits and no percentage of ad spend, so it's one predictable line on your costs. More on setting this up in the freelancer guide.

A note from the founder

AdChat is new, small and independent, so you won't find thousands of reviews here yet. What you get instead: I read every email myself, and the trial needs no card, so you can judge it on your own account. If something doesn't work for you, write to me at [email protected].

Frequently Asked Questions

I manage more than 3 ad accounts. Does it work for me?
Not on one plan yet: each plan connects up to 3 ad accounts. If you manage more, email [email protected] and tell me how many. Those emails decide whether agency pricing comes next.
Do my clients need to give me anything new?
No. AdChat sees the ad accounts your own Facebook login can manage in Ads Manager. If you already have access, you pick which accounts to connect.
Can AdChat change a client's account without me?
No. It starts read-only, it only acts when you ask, and on the Agent plan every change is a draft you approve. Mark any campaign as protected and no tool can touch it.
Can I white-label the reports?
Not yet. You can ask the AI to write the summary in your voice and paste it into your own report or email.
What does it cost after the trial?
AdChat MCP is $19/month, AdChat Agent $35/month, both cheaper yearly. The trial includes the Agent and needs no card.
