Best AI Agents for Facebook Ads in 2026, Sorted by How Much Control They Take
Nine AI agents and media-buyer tools for Meta ads compared by control level, with verified prices, whether they ask before changing anything, undo, memory and real profit tracking.
Updated November 2, 2026
The best AI agent for Facebook ads is the one that runs at the control level you are ready for: read-only if you are new, drafts you approve for most small advertisers, rules-bounded once you trust it. Sorted that way, the field of nine tools below gets much easier to read than the usual vendor listicles, where every writer ranks themselves first.
We make AdChat, so we are one of the nine. We have tried to be fair: every price and feature claim comes from the vendor's public page, checked in November 2026, and the table says where another tool is better. Prices change often. Check before you buy.
The short version
- Just want to talk to your ad account in Claude or ChatGPT? Meta's official Ads MCP is free. Try it first. If your account isn't enabled yet, Pipeboard's free tier or AdChat MCP ($19).
- Want changes drafted for approval, with undo and spend rules, at the lowest price? AdChat Agent ($35).
- Want a "new hire" that handles Meta and Google, with a bigger team behind it? AdAmigo ($99 per workspace and up) or Ryze ($89).
- Agency with many accounts and a governance requirement? GoMarble Operator ($399) or Scale ($799).
- Prefer rules you write yourself to an AI deciding? Bïrch ($49 and up).
- Want the AI to make creative and launch it with minimal oversight? AdStellar ($100 in credits), eyes open.
The comparison table
Control level: 1 = read-only, 2 = drafts you approve, 3 = applies within rules, 4 = full autonomy available. "–" means not offered; "n/d" means not documented on the vendor's site.

Where AdChat loses in this table: it is Meta only, it has no team seats or client roles on the current plans, it does not generate images or video, and the hosted chat is capped at 300 messages a month. If any of those is your main need, read the entries for the other tools first.
Level 1: read-only, you make the changes
Meta Ads MCP (official)
Free during open beta, 29 tools, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Cursor. You pick a scope tier when you sign in (read-only, read-write, or read-write with financial changes), so you can keep it at level 1 forever. New objects start paused. There are no drafts, no undo, no spend rules, no monitoring and no memory: it is a remote control, not an agent. The catch is the rollout. Meta is enabling it account by account, and until yours is on you get "Ads MCP is gradually being rolled out". Our Meta MCP not working page covers the errors.
Pick it if your account is enabled and you want a free way to ask questions and make the occasional change yourself.
GoMarble Copilot ($139)
A read-only agent that watches accounts, explains what changed and queues the next move for a human. The free plan gives one read-only agent and 100 credits. Write access needs Operator at $399. GoMarble is built for agencies and in-house teams, and its homepage proof ("$3B+ spend under agent management") reflects that. At $139 for a tool that cannot change anything, it is expensive for a solo advertiser but reasonable if reporting across many accounts is the job.
Level 2: drafts you approve
This is the level most small advertisers should run at, and the one where AdChat competes directly.
AdChat Agent ($35, or $19 for the MCP connector alone)
Every write the agent proposes, in the hosted chat or from Claude and ChatGPT through MCP, becomes a draft with before and after. You approve in chat, in your AI app, or from the alert email. One click undoes most applied changes within 30 days (statuses, budgets, bids, targeting, names; created objects are undone by pausing, and the draft tells you up front when something cannot be reversed). Add spend rules and protected campaigns on the Rules page to move to level 3 per account. It also runs a first-run audit that drafts fixes, 8 monitoring detectors with alert emails, a Monday report, memory of your goals and outcomes, and true profit from Stripe, Shopify or a CSV. 7-day trial with the agent included, no card. Up to 3 ad accounts. Meta only.
Pick it if you want the approval loop, undo and rules at the lowest price and you only advertise on Meta. Skip it if you need Google or TikTok, team seats, or AI-generated creative. The AI agent for Facebook ads page explains the whole loop.
AdAmigo.ai ($99 Entry, $349 Unlimited, $899 done-for-you)
The closest product to AdChat on features and the one we would point you to if you also run Google ads. "Nothing goes live without your approval", 24/7 monitoring for spend spikes, rejected ads and broken tracking, memory of what worked, and an opt-in auto-apply. Prices are per workspace (one Meta plus one Google account), so two Meta accounts means two workspaces. The Entry plan limits Autopilot recommendations to two a day and caps prompts. No undo is mentioned.
Pick it if you want the agent to do more on its own and you can spend $99 or more per account.
Ryze AI ($89 Paid Ads, $279 Agency)
Covers Google, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn with approval on every change on every plan, which is the clearest approval promise in the group. Also does creative generation and competitor research from the Meta Ads Library. Annual pricing is 30% off the first year. No undo or memory documented.
Pick it if you run three or more platforms and want one approval queue.
Madgicx AI Marketer ($45 to $329 depending on spend)
Madgicx hides its prices behind "see price inside the app", so here they are, read from a pricing tracker in November 2026: under $1K monthly Meta spend $45, $1–2.5K $99, $2.5–5K $119, $5–10K $129, $10–20K $229, $20–30K $329, above that talk to sales. Tracking is a $49 add-on. The AI Marketer runs a daily audit and prepares actions; you choose "review prepared actions before launch" (level 2) or "autonomous execution" (level 4). There is a Madgicx MCP for Claude and ChatGPT too. No spend rules, undo or change log described.
Pick it if you spend under $1K a month and want the cheapest big-brand option, or you already use Madgicx for reporting. Watch the bracket jumps as you scale. Our Madgicx alternative page has more.
Pipeboard (free, $29.90 Pro, $99 Premium, $199 Agency)
Pipeboard is an MCP, not an agent, but it belongs here because many people reach it searching for one. 42 Meta tools plus Google, TikTok, Snap and Reddit, duplication and bulk operations, scoped read-only tokens, paused-by-default creates. The free plan gives 30 AI runs a week on 2 accounts, which is enough to try the idea. Pipeboard's safety line is "Review what you ask your assistant to do": there is no draft, approval or undo layer. AdChat's MCP server is a fork of Pipeboard's open code; we added the agent layer on top. The honest comparison is AdChat vs Pipeboard.
Pick it if you are multi-platform or an agency and you want to drive the AI yourself.
Level 3: rules-bounded
Bïrch, formerly Revealbot ($49 Essential, $99 Pro, scales with spend)
The opposite philosophy. Instead of an AI proposing changes, you write rules ("if CPA over 7 days is above $40 and spend is above $100, pause") and the engine applies them. Birch AI now builds rules from a sentence, and there is a Birch MCP. Rules are deterministic, which is their strength and their limit: they do not notice problems you did not write a rule for. 14-day trial, no card.
Pick it if you know exactly which conditions should trigger which action and you would rather not have an AI in the loop. The budget guardrails guide compares rule-based and agent-based safety.
AdChat with spend rules
Once you set a budget-increase cap, an account daily cap and protected campaigns, you can switch an account to "trusted" mode. Changes the rules allow apply at once (still logged, still undoable); anything outside the rules waits. This is level 3 with a level 2 safety net underneath.
Level 4: autonomy on offer
AdStellar ($100 a month for 50,000 credits)
"The only AI media buyer that creates image and video ads, then takes action." It builds campaigns, pauses waste, scales winners, with plain-English rules, goal targets, visible reasoning and a pre-launch QA score. No formal approval step and no undo. Credit pricing: $2 per 1,000 credits beyond the plan.
Pick it if creative production is your bottleneck and you are comfortable reviewing the log rather than approving in advance. Keep a daily account cap in Ads Manager as a backstop.
Madgicx and AdAmigo also offer autonomous modes; see their entries above.
How to choose, in order
- Meta only or several platforms? Meta only: AdChat, Madgicx, Meta's MCP. Several: AdAmigo, Ryze, Pipeboard, Bïrch, GoMarble.
- Who approves changes? If the answer is "me, every time", you want level 2 and a product that says so plainly: AdChat, AdAmigo, Ryze, GoMarble Operator.
- What happens when a change is wrong? Only AdChat advertises undo in this group. Everyone else offers a log at best.
- Flat price or meter? AdChat, Ryze and Bïrch Essential are flat. Madgicx scales with spend, AdAmigo with workspaces, AdStellar and GoMarble with credits.
- Do you need the tool to know your revenue? Only AdChat connects Stripe and Shopify for MER at this price. Triple Whale and similar do it from $149 up.
- Trial without a card? AdChat, Bïrch, Pipeboard free and GoMarble free. Others ask for a card or charge a nominal fee.
FAQ
What is the best AI agent for Facebook ads?
For a solo advertiser who wants approval and undo at a low price, AdChat Agent ($35). For Meta plus Google with more autonomy, AdAmigo ($99+). For agencies with governance needs, GoMarble Operator ($399). For a free remote control inside Claude or ChatGPT, Meta's own Ads MCP. Prices checked November 2026.
Is there a free AI agent for Facebook ads?
Meta's Ads MCP is free but is a connector, not an agent. Pipeboard, GoMarble and Adspirer have free tiers with usage caps. AdChat has a 7-day trial that includes the agent, no card.
Which AI media buyer tools ask before making changes?
AdChat (every change is a draft), AdAmigo ("nothing goes live without your approval"), Ryze (approval on every change), GoMarble Operator ("nothing changes until you say yes") and Madgicx in its review mode.
Can an AI agent get my Meta ad account banned?
Unusual bursts of automated changes can trigger Meta's checks on any account. Tools that use an approved Meta app, create objects paused and rate-limit themselves lower the risk. Running at level 2 with a human approving each change is the safest pattern.
Do these tools work in Claude or ChatGPT?
Meta's MCP, Pipeboard, AdChat, GoMarble, Madgicx, Ryze and Bïrch all offer an MCP. Only AdChat and Meta's server expose their full change flow (drafts, approve, undo) as MCP tools as far as the public docs show.
