Best Meta Ads MCP Servers in 2026, Compared
An honest comparison of Meta Ads MCP servers in 2026: AdChat, Meta's official MCP, Pipeboard, Adspirer, AdAmigo, Markifact and self-hosted open source.
Updated October 24, 2026
There are now quite a few ways to connect an AI assistant to your Meta ad account, and they suit very different people. Some are free but not yet available on every account. Some cover five ad platforms and are built for agency teams. Some are simple and Meta-only. This guide compares the main options side by side and says plainly who each one is best for, including when AdChat is not the right pick.
We make AdChat, so read this with that in mind. We've tried to be fair: everything about other products comes only from their public websites as of October 2026, and where we couldn't find something, the table says "Not documented." Prices and features change, so check each site before you decide.
The short version
- Meta's official Ads MCP if it's been enabled on your ad account and you use Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Perplexity. It's free and first-party.
- Pipeboard if you're an agency or a team running ads on several platforms and need things like duplication and bulk edits.
- AdChat if you want the simplest Meta-only option that works on any account today, in any MCP app or in its own chat, with read-only as the default.
- Open-source, self-hosted servers if you're a developer who's happy to run your own server and manage Meta tokens.

AdChat
AdChat is a hosted MCP server for Meta ads only. It runs on Meta's standard Marketing API as an approved Meta app, so it works on any ad account you can manage in Ads Manager. You can use it in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP app that accepts a remote URL, or skip setup and use its own chat at adchat.app.
It starts read-only. Changes need you to turn on write access, new campaigns and ads are created paused, and it only acts when you ask. It has around 40 tools covering reporting, campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, targeting and audiences (full list).
Best for: small business owners, solo marketers and beginners who only advertise on Meta and want something simple and safe, explained in plain English.
Not great for: agencies needing team seats, people who need bulk edits, campaign duplication or video upload, and anyone who needs Google or TikTok too. The plan covers up to 3 ad accounts.
Meta's official Ads MCP
Meta announced its "ads AI connectors" in open beta on April 29, 2026: an Ads MCP server at mcp.facebook.com/ads plus a command line tool. Meta describes it as covering reporting, campaign management, catalog management and signal diagnostics. Business admins can set rules in Meta Business Suite to allow or block what AI agents may do on each ad account, including budget caps.
The catch is availability. It's being rolled out gradually, account by account, and accounts that aren't enabled yet get a message asking them to check back later. Meta's help center lists ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and Perplexity as supported. Other apps generally need you to create your own Meta developer app. If you hit errors, see Meta Ads MCP not working?.
Best for: anyone whose account is already enabled and who uses one of the listed clients. It's free and comes straight from Meta, and catalog and signal features go beyond what AdChat offers.
Pipeboard
Pipeboard is a broad, multi-platform option: Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap and Reddit, plus GA4 and Merchant. Its site says it is a Meta Business Partner, its code is source-available, and it supports campaign duplication and bulk edits. It has a free plan with 30 tool runs a week on 2 accounts, and paid plans priced per connected account.
Best for: agencies and in-house teams running many accounts across several ad platforms, and power users who want duplication and bulk changes.
Adspirer
Adspirer offers agents for several ad platforms that you use inside ChatGPT, Claude or Slack. It has a free tier of 15 tasks and paid plans at $49, $99 and $199.
Best for: marketers who want one assistant across multiple ad platforms and like working in Slack.
AdAmigo.ai
AdAmigo positions itself as an "AI hire" for Meta and Google ads. It has a 7-day trial and plans at $99 and $349 a month.
Best for: businesses that want something closer to a managed AI media buyer than a tool they drive themselves.
Markifact
Markifact combines agents, workflows and an MCP server. Plans start at $79 (Pro) and $249 (Team).
Best for: teams that want to build repeatable marketing workflows, not just chat with their ad data.
Open-source, self-hosted Meta MCPs
Several open-source Meta Ads MCP servers exist. You run the server yourself and handle your own Meta access tokens and app setup. The software is free, but you take on hosting, updates and security.
Best for: developers who want full control and don't mind the maintenance.
Others worth knowing
Madgicx, GoMarble, Ryze and Birch (formerly Revealbot) are broader ad tools that have added MCP or AI features. If you already use one of them, check what they include before adding another tool.
How to choose
- Is Meta's server enabled on your account? If yes and you use a supported app, try it first. It's free.
- Which platforms do you run? Meta only: AdChat or Meta's server. Several platforms: Pipeboard or Adspirer.
- Do you need team features or bulk edits? Then look at the agency-focused tools.
- How careful do you want the defaults to be? If you're new, read-only by default and paused-by-default creation are worth a lot.
- Do you use Claude or ChatGPT at all? If not, a tool with a built-in chat saves you the setup.
You don't have to pick just one. Many people use Meta's free server where it's available and another MCP for accounts or apps it doesn't cover.
FAQ
What is the best Meta Ads MCP server?
It depends on you. For a free, first-party option on an enabled account, Meta's own server. For agencies on many platforms, Pipeboard. For a simple, Meta-only setup that works on any account today, AdChat.
Is there a free Meta Ads MCP?
Yes. Meta's official Ads MCP is free while in open beta, Pipeboard has a free plan, and open-source servers are free to self-host. AdChat has a 7-day free trial.
Why does Meta's MCP say my account isn't enabled?
Meta is rolling it out gradually per ad account and hasn't given dates. Tools that use Meta's standard Marketing API, such as AdChat, don't depend on that rollout.
Can I use more than one Meta Ads MCP at a time?
Yes. Most AI apps let you add several connectors. Just be clear in your prompt about which one should make changes.
Which Meta Ads MCP is best for beginners?
Look for read-only defaults, paused-by-default creation and plain-English guidance. That's what AdChat is designed around, and it has its own chat if you don't use Claude or ChatGPT.
