For people who'd rather not check Ads Manager every day

7 reasons to let an AI agent watch your Facebook ads (and why it still asks first)

By Eric, founder of AdChat · Updated · 5 min read

Most ad accounts don't fail in one big moment. They leak: an ad gets tired, a cost creeps up, a budget gets changed and forgotten. Catching that means checking every day, which few people manage. Here's the case for giving that job to an AI agent, and why a good one still asks before it touches your money.

It checks your account so you don't have to

Every six hours the AdChat Agent pulls your numbers and looks for eight problems: cost per result spikes, tired creative, spend pacing too fast or slow, spend with no results, ad sets stuck in learning, disapproved ads, an expiring Facebook connection, and budgets changed outside AdChat.

Subject:Cost per purchase up 46% on “Broad 25–45”

Over the last 3 days, “Broad 25–45” spent $186 for 7 purchases ($26.57 each). The two weeks before averaged $18.20. Frequency is 3.9, so the ads are probably tired.

It explains what changed, in a sentence

“Cost per purchase rose 46% over three days, mostly from ‘Broad 25–45’, where frequency is 3.9.” Not a dashboard of red arrows: what moved, where, and the likely reason, so you can decide in a minute.

Every change is a draft you approve

It proposes; you decide. Each draft shows the object, what it is now and what it would become, and whether that's inside your rules. Approve it in the chat, in Claude or ChatGPT, or from the email. Drafts you ignore expire after 24 hours.

Your retargeting ad set is spending its budget by 2pm with a $7.40 cost per purchase. I'd give it more room.

    One click undoes it

Budgets, statuses, bids, targeting and names are restored from the recorded “before”. Things it created are undone by pausing them. The few changes that can't be reversed, like creative edits, say so before you approve. A log tells you what went wrong; undo fixes it.

Your limits are enforced in code, not in a prompt

Maximum budget increase per day, a cap on the account's total daily budget, a dollar amount above which it must ask, and protected campaigns no tool may touch. You set them in the dashboard, never in chat, so nothing in an ad name or a clever message can talk it past them.

    It remembers what worked

Your goals (“keep cost per lead under $25”), facts you tell it (“December is our peak”), and what happened after each change it made. It reads that before every answer, so it doesn't repeat last month's mistake or ask you the same question twice.

It costs $35 a month, flat

The AdChat Agent is $35 a month, flat, with no credits or spend brackets. On their own pricing pages in November 2026, other ads agents with an approval step started at $89 (Ryze) to $399 (GoMarble Operator) a month. It won't replace a creative strategist, but it will do the daily checking you've been skipping. More on how the agent works and how it compares.

A note from the founder

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it change my ads on its own?
Only if you tell it to. By default every change is a draft you approve. You can allow it to apply changes inside your rules for one ad account at a time, and changes it can't reverse always wait for you. There's no full-autopilot mode.
What if I approve something by mistake?
Undo it from the change log in one click. Budgets, statuses, bids, targeting and names go back to how they were. It can't un-spend money that already went out, which is why the spend rules exist.
Can I use the agent inside Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Drafts, approvals, undo and memory are MCP tools too. The alert emails and weekly report arrive either way.
What's the difference from Meta's automated rules?
Meta's rules act on one metric without context, and there's no undo. The agent explains why, proposes a specific change, asks you, and can put it back. You can keep using Meta's rules alongside it.
Do I need the Agent, or is the $19 plan enough?
If you're happy asking Claude or ChatGPT when you think of it and checking changes yourself, AdChat MCP at $19 is enough. Pick the Agent if you want it to watch the account, email you, keep drafts, undo and limits. The trial includes the Agent so you can decide.
